Token brief / 04 — Release schedule
From TGE to month 48: how ORV supply unlocks
A third of the supply is available at the token generation event. The rest arrives against locks, linear schedules and roadmap milestones. This page maps each tranche and what the schedule can, and cannot, tell a reader.
35% at TGE, 65% on a schedule
The token generation event is the dividing line in the ORV model. On the near side, 17,500,000 ORV, or 35% of the fixed 50,000,000 supply, is placed in initial circulation. On the far side, 32,500,000 ORV is held back and released according to stated mechanisms: locks for the team and partners, roadmap-aligned releases for the ecosystem fund, and participation-based distribution for community incentives and staking.
Initial circulation is meant to serve market liquidity, early community growth, user incentives, ecosystem partnerships and brand promotion. A token with no float cannot support a market, reward early users or fund a partner integration.
The 65% balance is where supply discipline is enforced. Team tokens do not move for 12 months. Half of the partner allocation is locked for 6 months and then released over 24. The ecosystem fund's deferred 10,000,000 ORV follows the roadmap rather than a fixed calendar. Community rewards are distributed as participation occurs. The remaining supply enters across the early years of the ecosystem rather than concentrating at launch.

The long locks: team and partners
Two allocations carry explicit cliff-and-linear schedules. The bars use a 48-month axis for comparison. Percentages refer to each allocation, not total supply.
The team's 12-month cliff is the longest lock in the model. After it, 7,500,000 ORV releases linearly over 36 months, roughly 208,333 ORV per month if the release is even. The purpose is to tie team incentives to long-term development rather than the first market cycle.
Strategic partners and advisors receive 5,000,000 ORV. Half, 2,500,000 ORV, enters circulation at TGE. The remainder is locked for 6 months and released over 24 months, roughly 104,167 ORV per month across that window. The split reflects the two sides of a partnership: contributions at launch and contributions over time.
Linear release is not the same as predictable selling, but it makes the maximum monthly inflow from these buckets knowable. It is not a forecast of recipient behaviour.
Ecosystem and community: phased, not dated
Not every allocation has a fixed calendar. The ecosystem development fund holds 15,000,000 ORV, of which 5,000,000 ORV enters initial circulation at TGE. The remaining 10,000,000 ORV is released gradually with the roadmap, funding AI research, product upgrades, the developer ecosystem, Web3 applications and global partnerships. No month-by-month schedule is published for this tranche, so the bar below is indicative rather than a fixed curve.
Community incentives and staking account for 10,000,000 ORV, distributed against contribution rewards, staking, community activities, ecosystem contributions and governance participation. Distribution is ongoing and conditional on activity, making it the least calendar-like bucket in the model, and the one most directly tied to the behaviour the ecosystem wants.
Liquidity (3,000,000 ORV) and marketing (2,000,000 ORV) are operational allocations, used as conditions require rather than on a vesting curve. Combined they represent 10% of supply, a deliberately restrained share.
- Roadmap-phased (indicative)
- Participation-based (ongoing)
Release calendar at a glance
| Window | Tranche | Amount (ORV) | Share | Mechanism |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TGE | Initial circulating supply | 17,500,000 | 35.0% | Includes the ecosystem TGE tranche of 5,000,000 and the partner TGE tranche of 2,500,000 |
| Months 0–48 | Ecosystem development, deferred | 10,000,000 | 20.0% | Released gradually with the roadmap; no fixed monthly schedule |
| Ongoing | Community incentives & staking | 10,000,000 | 20.0% | Contribution, staking and governance rewards |
| Months 12–48 | Core team | 7,500,000 | 15.0% | 12-month lock, then 36-month linear release |
| Months 6–30 | Strategic partners, locked tranche | 2,500,000 | 5.0% | 6-month lock, then 24-month release; 2,500,000 more at TGE |
| Operational | Liquidity | 3,000,000 | 6.0% | CEX and DEX liquidity, market-making support |
| Operational | Marketing & brand | 2,000,000 | 4.0% | Brand, community, events and acquisition |
TGE tranches of the ecosystem fund and partner allocation sit inside the 17,500,000 initial circulation and are not additive to it.
What the schedule does and does not tell you
A vesting schedule answers a narrow question: at what maximum pace can locked supply reach the market? For ORV, the team's unlock begins at month 12 and runs through month 48. The partner remainder unlocks between months 6 and 30. The ecosystem and community buckets follow delivery and participation rather than a clock.
It does not answer whether recipients will sell, whether the market will absorb releases, or whether the products will be used. Unlock schedules are treated as price signals, but they are supply signals: they tell you when circulation can increase, not what tokens will be worth.
The fixed cap adds one constraint. Because minting is disabled, the release schedule is the only path by which supply can grow toward 50,000,000. There is no parallel issuance channel to model, which makes the float projection cleaner than under an inflationary design, even though demand remains uncertain.
Vesting terms describe design intentions from the ORION white paper. They are not a forecast of price, liquidity or returns. ORV is a utility token, not equity, debt or a fixed-income instrument, and digital assets can lose all value.
