Token brief / 05 — Questions

Straight answers on ORV supply and utility

Eight questions that come up most often when readers encounter the ORV model. The answers restate the white paper's design parameters, separate what is fixed from what is only possible, and avoid the temptation to overstate either.

  • Supply: 50,000,000 ORV
  • Float: 35% at TGE
  • Utility token, not equity
  • Not investment advice

The questions

What is the total supply of ORV?

The total supply is fixed at 50,000,000 ORV, and the white paper describes minting as disabled. No additional tokens are planned through new issuance, so every allocation and release is a distribution of that fixed quantity. The cap is the anchor for every other number in the model: the six allocation buckets, the 35% initial float and the 65% held back for locks, roadmap-aligned funding and participation rewards.

What does 35% initial circulation mean?

It means 35% of the 50,000,000 supply, or 17,500,000 ORV, is intended to be available at the token generation event. The remaining 65%, or 32,500,000 ORV, is released through locks, roadmap-aligned ecosystem funding and participation-based community rewards. Initial circulation is meant to support market liquidity, early community growth, user incentives, ecosystem partnerships and brand promotion during the launch phase.

How much ORV does the team hold and when can it move?

The core team allocation is 15%, or 7,500,000 ORV. It is subject to a 12-month lock-up followed by a 36-month linear release, so team tokens do not enter circulation during the first year and then unlock gradually through month 48. At an even pace, that is roughly 208,333 ORV per month across the release window. The stated purpose is to align the team with long-term ecosystem development.

What are the terms for strategic partners and advisors?

Strategic partners and advisors receive 10%, or 5,000,000 ORV. Of that, 2,500,000 ORV is scheduled to enter circulation at TGE. The remainder is locked for 6 months and then released gradually over the following 24 months, which works out to roughly 104,167 ORV per month across that window. The allocation is intended for technical collaborations, industry resource partnerships, advisory support and global ecosystem expansion.

Is ORV an investment or a claim on VEA?

No. ORV is designed as a utility token. The white paper states that it does not represent equity, debt, fixed-income rights or any ownership interest in VEA, and it is not a promise of returns. Nothing on this site is investment advice. Readers should not treat a fixed supply, an allocation table or a vesting schedule as a valuation case for the token.

What is supposed to create demand for ORV?

The design points to usage: access to AI-powered services, platform features, community governance, ecosystem contributions and collaboration with Web3 applications. As platform use grows, demand for ORV is expected to expand. That is a thesis, not a guarantee. Adoption depends on product execution, competition, regulation and broader market conditions, and the white paper acknowledges that tokenomics requires validation by the ecosystem.

Will ORV be bought back and burned?

Possibly, but not necessarily. The white paper raises buyback and burn as a potential future mechanism funded by AI service revenue, platform operations, partnerships or ecosystem activity. It is explicitly not a commitment, and no timing, scale or execution method has been fixed. Any decision would depend on platform performance and established governance rules. Treat it as an option the ecosystem might exercise, not as a feature of the current model.

What are the main risks to the ORV model?

Execution risk, demand risk, regulatory uncertainty, competition and market conditions all apply. A fixed supply does not guarantee value or liquidity, and digital assets can lose all of their value. Token releases can increase circulating supply even when demand is flat. Regulatory classification may differ by jurisdiction, and access to services or trading venues may be restricted. Readers should assess the product, governance and disclosures independently and seek professional advice where appropriate.

Not investment advice

This FAQ summarises design intentions described in the ORION white paper. It is not an offer, a solicitation or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold ORV or any other digital asset. ORV is a utility token, not equity, debt or a fixed-return instrument. Digital assets involve significant risk, including total loss.

The short answers above compress a model that is easier to judge with the underlying numbers in view. The tokenomics page explains why supply is fixed and why the float is 35%. The allocation page sets out each bucket and its purpose. The vesting page maps the release terms from TGE to month 48.

Readers who want the full picture should move through those three pages in order. Each uses the same parameter set, and each separates design intention from outcome.
